The BC.Game organization, which has become one of the most talked-about players on the esports scene over the past year, is ready to splash the cash in pursuit of world dominance. During a Twitch livestream, the club's CEO, Ali "akofocus" Muhanned, revealed details of a failed deal that could have been the largest in CS2 history.

The Hunt for the HLTV Top 30

According to Muhanned, the organization was prepared to shell out $8 million to acquire an established roster from the world's top thirty. A list of 14 teams was showcased during the stream, including giants like Natus Vincere and Team Liquid.

"For one of these teams, we offered over eight million dollars. That’s a massive hint; you can do the math yourselves," stated Ali Muhanned.

The Project Around s1mple and electroNic

BC.Game has been systematically acquiring star veterans. Here is the "money bag" org's journey in CS2 so far:

  • Summer 2024: Entered the scene with a solid Tier-2 roster.
  • Summer 2025: Signed the legendary Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev.
  • October 2025: Denis "electroNic" Sharipov joined the squad.
  • January 2026: Purchased the Portuguese core of SAW.

Rumors circulated that the club attempted to poach players from Astralis, but the Danes reportedly declined the offer.

What is the Current State of the Roster?

Despite the massive budgets, the roster continues to face instability. Currently, only three players remain in the active lineup: on April 14, MUTiRiS and aragornN were moved to the bench. For the upcoming IEM Atlanta 2026, Maidar "nocries" Baldanov will stand in for the team.

Current BC.Game Roster:

  • Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev
  • Denis electroNic Sharipov
  • Adonis krazy Nobre
  • Wiktor TaZ Wojtas (Coach)

CSNN.PRO Editorial Opinion: The $8 million figure seems astronomical even for today's market. Most likely, the offer was directed at a top-tier European roster. However, as history shows, money alone isn't enough to secure victories in CS2.
